WIRE FRAME / VISIBLE LINE / 3D SHADED / TEXTURED / RENDERED
These drawings were created using SoftPlan’s 3D module. Once the 3D mode has been selected, a simple positioning control panels appears along with a footprint of your structure. Your position around the building is controlled by a camera and a target. Simply place the camera, with the mouse, where you wish to view from and set the target at the place you want to look at. The other control sets your height above or below the house. SoftPlan will take it from there.
A great number of different images may be created by eliminating elements from the building.
Every element can be turned on / off and have a selected colour or texture.
For instance you may wish to remove the roof from the building and view from high above, this image would then appear as a 3D floor plan with depth and perspective.
Images can be generated in different modes, Wire Frame, Visible Line, Shaded, Textured and Full Rendered Texture with multiple light sources, reflections, shadows.
A library of textures are provided, this library can be added to by simply importing picture files, textures can be scanned and added to the already extensive library.
Background images, bitmaps, can
be in the form of scanned photos or images from digital cameras. A picture of
the intending building site can be displayed as a background and the building
drawn in SoftPlan positioned in front of it. Letting the customer view their
new home before it is built.
Complete landscaping images can be produced showing developed vegetation.
3D images can be generated in a matter of minutes with selected textures to any surface. 3D can be used as a tremendous marketing and sales tool. It allows you to convey your designs to your customer quickly and clearly. 3D images no longer need take 2 or 3 days to create. They are more of a by-product of the required drawings.
