ELECTRICAL LAYOUTS
Electrical Plan Drawing are created using SoftPlan's electrical mode. Items not required to be displayed can be hidden in the electrical mode drawing by utilising SoftPlan's visible items menu. This instantly created a fresh, shell drawing on which to create the electrical plan, with out the need to create a separate drawing. This method ensures accuracy and consistency through out the design.
At the click of the mouse a detailed electrical schedule is produced showing description, number and symbol of items.
SoftPlan has created standardized symbols for lights, switches (2 Way and 3 Way), and receptacles. You can easily select these from the menus and place them in the desired locations.
Additional symbols can be created to suit you needs and stored in a library. Draw them once and they can be used over and over again.
SoftPlan provides two separate methods of wiring. You may chose from arc or straight line. Just click on one electrical item and again on the joining item and the wire is placed. SoftPlan's unique clean-up feature will neatly place all the electrical items on their respective walls and connect the wiring neatly to the fixture or switch.
Stunning 3Dimensional images with environmental light mapping are easily and quickly produced. Light fixtures have separate light settings for brightness, decay, direction and angle of beam etc. This provides complete control over lighting effects and resulting shadows.
