The Elevation Drawings were created automatically.
All the information used to generate these drawings came from the floor and roof plan.
Left Image
This is a finished east elevation it was automatically generated from the floor
plans.
Centre Image
This is the information that is automatically generated from the plan. The more
information that you add to the plan the better the elevation. Items edited
in elevation view will also be altered on the plan. Eg, the height of a verandah
post is not correct, just move or edit the post in elevation view and the plan
will be adjusted accordingly. Note that ceiling and floor levels are indicated
for you.
Right Image Details were then added to the elevations to enhance them. SoftPlan provides
several automated functions to aid in design, automatically. The Symbol Libraries
were used to add exterior details such as lights, vents and landscape. All with
a click of the mouse.
Elevation dimension lines appear automatically to include wall heights and
joist depth. These lines can also be dimensioned for referencing grade elevation
and total structure height.
Speed notes were then applied to name the elevations, elevation levels and
pertinent details.
Items such as ground line, notes and paint fill have been added to complete
the elevation.
