Drawing Styles
We realize that many users prefer to produce work that stands
apart from other computer generated drawings, that why SoftPlan allow the user to define so many text styles, line types and printer / plotter pen
assignments.
Walls and Beams can be displayed
and printed in different colours and a variety of textures. Each component in the wall assembly can be assigned a
separate colour and pen width. This includes the edges as well as the centre fill of
materials.
Having 16 different available pen assignments allows you to create your own drawing style, similar to that
produced on the drawing board.
As well as having the options to set the printer / plotter
pen colours you are also able to select screen display colours. This allows adjustments to be made for users that
find some colours easier to view than others.
When your drawing is ready to be printed you have a variety of options to select, fit drawing to page, print screen colours and setting of scale to
name a few.

Pen Colours
|
|
 |
Each pen can be assigned a different colour and width. Some people
call the width the weight of the pen. These pen assignments are used for plotters and
printers.
|
|
Each pen can have a colour assigned and each of these colours can be
adjusted to your liking.
|
 |
|
 |
Simply adjust the sliders and values to control the desired shade of
colour.
|
|
Pen colour assignments can be loaded directly from your printer or plotter
driver.

Pen Assignments
|
|
Pens can be assigned to groups of items, these groups are defined in
SoftPlan. Most items in each group can have a different pen or colour set in the
drawing.

There are 16 pens and pen widths can be set from 0.1 to 2.5mm

Screen Display Colours
|
Apart from being able to set the printer / plotter output colours,
screen display colours for items can also be set. You can also print screen colours instead of
